The Lake Tahoe Triathlon is proud to partner with Clean Up The Lake as the events beneficiary.  Please help us reach our goal of $5,000 that will support our litter removal operations and aquatic invasive species surveys taking place in Lake Tahoe.  Clean Up the Lake (CUTL) is a 501(c)3 whose mission is to activate local communities to join us intaking action to protect the environment, both above and below the surface. Our efforts include working with engaged community volunteers to remove submerged litter from natural waterways and monitor for aquatic invasive species (AIS) to improve water quality and ecosystem health while also educating the public on how litter accumulates, and AIS can be transported in the environment in unforeseen ways. To date our SCUBA cleanups have removed over 70,000 pounds of litter from lakes in the Sierra Nevada mountains.  100% of your donation goes directly to support Clean Up The Lake's operations in Lake Tahoe.
